GovAcademy reaches the 12,800 certified alumni milestone across 340+ agency partners, with cybersecurity and AI governance courses leading completion rates.

GovAcademy announced on April 28, 2026, that it has certified more than 12,800 federal professionals across 340 partner agencies since the platform's launch 18 months ago. The milestone was reached with the completion of a Zero Trust Architecture cohort at a major defense agency.

The fastest-growing certification tracks reflect federal priority shifts: Cybersecurity courses account for 38 percent of completions, followed by AI and Data courses at 22 percent, Compliance tracks at 18 percent, and Cloud courses at 12 percent. Executive Diploma programs have seen the strongest growth rate at 340 percent year-over-year.

The academy's completion rate of 98.2 percent significantly outperforms the industry average of 67 percent for online professional education, which GovAcademy attributes to its scenario-based assessment methodology and cohort-based delivery model.

The Zero Trust Architecture course (GA-001) remains the most enrolled course with 2,847 completions, followed by AI Governance for Public Sector Leaders (GA-002) with 1,923 completions and FedRAMP Readiness (GA-003) with 1,456 completions.

Alumni survey data shows that 84 percent of certified professionals report applying course content directly to active projects within 30 days of completion, and 71 percent report that their certification influenced a procurement, policy, or implementation decision at their agency.

GovAcademy's blockchain-verified credential system has processed over 15,000 credential verifications since launch, with verification requests coming from HR offices, security clearance processors, and interagency working group coordinators.

The academy projects reaching 25,000 certified alumni by the end of 2026, driven by expansion into new agency categories including the Intelligence Community, federal judicial branch, and government-sponsored enterprises.
